Obscurity Update

Hello our Batty friends!

Couple of announcements for this lazy Sunday.

The server and site will be undergoing maintence over the next couple days in preparation of October, things may look wonky for a minute but we will get there.

We are adding some embedded messages so the rules section will be altered (rules will stay the same) but you will most likely be pinged. You DO NOT have to react to the message again.

Foxxy had some upgrades last night including a new ticketing system for help with any issues, as well as some new / commands, we will be adding a virtual commerce section where you will be able to use Komori Koins to feed Komori, as well as if you hold on to them, you will recieve badges, and lastly achievements for interactions with the server are now located in the level up section, such as messages sent, reactions to messages ect.

Halloween Event:

Halloween is a big deal for us here in Obscurity as this is what we are founded on, horror and horror games and we take it back to the roots every year.

We will be holding our second annual Halloween event this year starting on the first which will include prizes for participation, how the community interacts ect.

There will be a Halloween category added to the top of the server with pumpkins which will include:

⦁Halloween Movies - 12 hours a day movies will be playing through @thestonedotters account which will be an open VC with push to talk enabled where we stream horror movies from 10-10 EST

⦁Halloween Mini Games - We will be adding some Halloween bots that will function just like the Pokemon game in the server where there will be drops and there will be a leader board

⦁Halloween Costume Party - As the title says, a costume competition, it doesn't matter if its you, kids, or your pets. Everyone gets so many entries and at the very end of the month we will make a Foxxy poll on best costume.

⦁Halloween Art- This will be a section that people can put their Halloween art in, which includes but is not limited to (Digital, Hand Drawn, Music , Edits)

These channels will be added shortly and will be hidden until the event starts so we can ensure everything is working properly, Otter and myself will be overseeing this project personally this year as well as any voulunteers

Participation we judge based on levels added in the level up section, as well as what we see in streams, higher levels in the discord will be weighted against lower levels for scaling purposes to make it fair. We will be handing out giftcards and one basket with Obscurity Halloween merch depending on the scale.
